Canada Income Tax Calculator (2026)
What this excludes: Federal only — excludes provincial/territorial tax (varies by province) and Quebec's separate QPIP/QPP system (Quebec residents pay QPP instead of CPP and different EI-adjacent premiums). SIMPLIFICATION: CPP's post-2019 "enhanced" portion (part of the 5.95% base rate and all of CPP2) is technically deductible against federal taxable income in real Canadian payroll — this calculator does NOT apply that deduction; contributions here are shown as a straight post-tax-calculation deduction from gross pay, so the income-tax figure will be slightly higher (and take-home slightly lower) than a fully precise T4 payroll run. This is a deliberate Faz 1 simplification, not a silent omission.
